Our Story
We've Been Where You Are
Keystone Eldercare Solutions was founded from a deeply personal place by a Gerontologist. After spending a lifetime of experience as a registered nurse (RN) working in ER, Community Health, and Hospice Care, our leadership experienced firsthand the challenges of navigating the healthcare system when caring for their own aging parents.
After writing and publishing "What do we do about mom?", Valerie Wiens took the reins to help families avoid the same frustrations she encountered.
Our mission is to help other families find clarity, support, and peace of mind during one of life's most challenging transitions.

After 38 years as a RN in ER, community health, hospice, and case management, Valerie brings both professional expertise and personal caregiving experience. Author of "What Do We Do About Mom?" and certified Teepa Snow Care Consultant.
Alysha Crisp
LPN
Born and raised in the Comox Valley, Alysha graduated as an LPN in 2016 and worked at Glacier View Lodge. She brings a cheerful presence and loving heart to seniors care, having personally cared for her grandparents with Alzheimer's.
Teresa MacNeill
RN, End of Life Doula
With 34 years of nursing experience from Labour and Delivery to Case Management, Teresa brings expertise in dementia care and supporting seniors at home. Recently certified as an End of Life Doula to honor each client's wishes.
